I want to hear from YOU!

Hi, there!

I'd love to hear from you to know if I am supplying enough info for you!

Is there something else that you'd like to see me add to this LONA-KIDS page?

Just drop me a line when you can.
I know finding a free moment isn't easy when the little ones are around! :)

Peace!

Is YOUR child lead safe?

October 25-31, 2009 is National Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Week. The Coalition to Prevent Lead Poisoning, along with our community partners, has scheduled three FREE blood lead testing events which take place on Monday October 26, Thursday October 29, and Friday October 30. Times and locations are detailed in the attached flyer.

Please take a moment this week to make sure your child has been test for exposure to lead as well as making sure your home is safe from lead hazards. If you don’t have children, spread the word to those who do.Go to the Coalition’s website at www.leadsafeby2010.org to get information about scheduling a FREE lead inspection of your house or apartment . You can also learn about the EPA’s new Renovation, Remodeling & Painting Rule ("Be Proactive, not Reactive--Renovate Right!") which goes into effect next April.

Help Spread the Word! Put the following as a status update on your Facebook page: October 25-31, 2009 is National Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Week. Go to www.leadsafeby2010.org for information on FREE blood lead tests and scheduling a FREE inspection of your house or apartment for lead paint hazards.
